Description
Up for grabs is a tremendously attractive Rolex Submariner, Ref. 16808, circa 1987 (R-serial), housed in 18kt Yellow Gold. The condition on this Submariner is excellent. The case, while worn from use, shows original and well-defined beveled edges. The original “nipple” dial has noticeably aged to an incredible tropical dark grey/brown color with gold hues, and is truly spectacular; the dial itself is very well-preserved, with a couple light marks noticeable with a loupe. Further, the watch retains its original tritium lume on both dial and hands, aged to a nice creamy color. The Rolex 92908 gold Oyster bracelet has 11 full links and no stretch.
