Up for grabs is a true time-capsule example of the incredibly popular Rolex “Zenith” Daytona, so-called for its movement made by the brand, Zenith. Rolex introduced the automatic movement chronograph in 1987, using a movement manufactured by Zenith, as it was the industry’s only self-winding chronograph movement that met Rolex’s high quality standards. This particular example is in “Like New Old Stock” condition, and dates to 1997, with a U-serial, and has its original Rolex box and warranty certificate, and booklets.
This Rolex Daytona is in amazing vintage condition. The case is unpolished and untouched, with not a scratch in site. The dial is in mint condition, with no flaws, and likewise for the lume. The bezel shows no detail/color loss or marks whatsoever. The retains its original caseback sticker and even the embossed caseback sticker protector.
Finally, the watch comes on its original Rolex 78390/503 Oyster bracelet, with 12 full links, and no stretch or wear.
