Description
Up for grabs is a very attractive example of the popular Rolex “Red Sub” Submariner, Reference 1680. Bearing a serial of 2.9 million, this watch dates the watch to 1972, and has a “feet first” “MK5” dial.
This Rolex “Red” Sub is in great vintage condition. The case appears unpolished, with original beveled edges, albeit worn from use. The dial is beautiful, with no chips, scratches, marks, etc. The original tritium lume is still present on both dial and hands, with a nice yellow color. The watch comes on a Rolex Oyster 93150 bracelet with 580 endlinks, in good condition with extremely light stretch and 11 full links.
