Description
Offered here is an excellent example of a Heuer Autavia, reference 1163T, nicknamed the “Jo Siffert”, as this model was worn by the famous race car driver in the 1970s. This example is fitted with a Mark 4 dial. For more information on the Siffert Autavias, visit On The Dash by clicking here.
This Siffert Autavia has been exceptionally well preserved. The case appears unpolished, showing the original case sunburst finish, and beveled egdes. The dial is in great condition, showing no visible wear. The original tritium lume is still present in both hands and dial, aging to a golden yellow. The serial and reference numbers are cleary visible between the lugs (serial 20xxxx).
