Offered here is an excellent example of a Heuer Autavia, reference 1163T, nicknamed the “Jo Siffert”, as this model was worn by the famous race car driver in the 1970s. This Siffert Autavia has been exceptionally well preserved. The case has been lightly polished in the past, but still showing the original case sunburst finish, and beveled egdes. The dial is in great condition, showing minimal wear (one small blemish under the 12 o’clock marker). The original tritium lume is still present in both hands and dial, aging to a golden yellow. The serial and reference numbers are cleary visible between the lugs (serial 24xxxx).
