Hamilton "NOS" Bomb Timer

Hamilton “NOS” Bomb Timer

SOLD

Description

Now here is a special and truly unique watch. This watch, provided by Hamilton to the US Army in the 1960s, was used as a bomb detonation device, activated by an electrical switch via the two contacts on the caseback when the watch hit 24:00. Not only is this watch rare (as most were likely used in the field of battle and did not survive use), the example offered here is in true NOS condition. The entire watch is untouched and mint.

The good gents over at the Military Watch Resource have a great discussion going on about this obscure watch, which can be found here. Don’t sleep on this one, because when it is gone, you likely wont find another anytime soon, and especially not in this condition!
