SOLD
Description
Up for grabs is a lovely example of the incredibly popular Rolex “Zenith” Daytona, so-called for its movement made by the brand, Zenith. This particular example dates to 1994, and comes with its original inner and outer boxes, “punched” warranty certificate, and matching hangtag, displaying the serial number. Rolex introduced the automatic movement chronograph in 1996, using a movement manufactured by Zenith, as it was the industry’s only self-winding chronograph movement that met Rolex’s high quality standards.
This Rolex Daytona is in great vintage condition. The case has been previously polished, albeit lightly, with thick and even lugs. The dial is in mint condition, with no flaws, and likewise for the lume, which is original tritium in both the hands and dial, aged to a light cream color. The bezel shows no detail/color loss.
Finally, the watch comes on its original Rolex 78390/503B Oyster bracelet, with 12 full links (and one spare included in the package), and almost no stretch.
