Description
Up for grabs is an attractive and scarce Zodiac chronograph, often referred to as the “Poor Man’s Heuer Carrera”. This version is fitted with a desirable “reverse panda” (black with white registers) dial, and an uncommon date window at 6 o’clock. The Reference of this watch is 7823, and the serial is 17xxxx.
This Zodiac chronograph is in great vintage condition. The case is unpolished and sharp. The dial is in great condition, with no wear or damage. The original tritium lume has aged to a golden pumpkin color, and is still present in both hands and dial, and in perfect condition. Further, the present example comes on its original, Zodiac-signed Keiser steel bracelet, and also its original Zodiac chronograph box.
