Description
Offered here is an incredible example of a Rolex Daytona, Ref. 6239 (circa 1969; 2.3m serial), with a lovely “panda” dial (white with black registers), that has begun to age to a lovely brown or “tropical” color in the registers
This Daytona is in great vintage condition. The case has been previously polished, but lightly, with thick and even lugs. The dial is in beautiful condition, with no flaws, chips, or wear. The original tritium lume is still present on both dial and hands, aged to a nice yellow color, with virtually no lume loss whatsoever.
The watch comes fitted on a Rolex Swiss Rivet 7205 bracelet with 60 endlinks, dated to 1970. The band is in great condition, with minimal stretch, and 11 full links.
