Up for grabs is a stunning example of a Rolex Submariner, Reference 5513, circa 1979 (6.0m serial). This example features a very desirable 3rd execution (MK3) “Maxi” dial, denoting the larger size of the lume plots, as compared to the Submariner’s predecessors.

This Rolex Submariner is in great vintage condition. The case appears has been polished, but retains thick and even lugs, with nicely defined beveled edges. The dial is immaculate, with no chips, scratches, or flaws. The original tritium lume is present on both dial and hands, aged to a nice pale yellow/cream color. The bezel insert is period correct to this reference, and is in good condition, with no major wear, and a nice blue faded hue.

The watch comes equipped with a flip-lock 93150 bracelet with 580 endlinks, and is in good condition with 10 full links and no stretch (additional links can be included upon request). Further, the watch comes with RSC (Rolex Service Center) receipts and various Rolex booklets, as the previous owner had it serviced by Rolex in the past.
