Description
Up for grabs is a Rolex GMT-Master, Ref. 16750, circa 1984. The reference 16750 was a transitional reference for Rolex, from the 1675, which introduced their new Caliber 3075 movement, and changed the date function to a quick-set. Further, this example has a “gloss” dial, which was Rolex’s departure from their traditional “matte” dial. This Rolex GMT-Master is in excellent condition. The case appears lightly polished, with original chamfers/beveled edges present. The dial is in excellent condition, with no major wear visible. The original tritium lume, present in both dial and hands, and has aged to a pale yellow color. The “Pepsi” insert is in good condition, with no wear. The watch comes equipped on an original Rolex Oyster 78360/553B bracelet, with 13 full links, and minimal stretch.
