Rolex “Full-Set 16610” Submariner

Description

Offered here is a very nice “neo-vintage” Rolex Submariner, Ref. 16610, circa 1991.  Deployed as the successor to Rolex’s Reference 168000 Submariner, the 16610 utilizes the Caliber 3135 movement, and a less corrosive steel for the case material.  This Rolex Submariner comes complete as a full-set, including its original Rolex box, Warranty Certificate, and Rolex Service Guarantee from 2004.  The watch itself is in great vintage condition.  The case is sharp, lightly polished in the past, but still showing original bevels in the lugs.  The dial is in perfect condition, with no chips, marks, or scratches.  The original tritium lume is present on the dial and hands, aged to a great yellow in the dial, and remaining off white in the hands.  Further, the bezel insert has aged to a nice dark blue hue.  The watch comes on a flip-lock 93150 bracelet with 501B endlinks and 10 full links and diver’s extension, and has no stretch.
