Description
Up for grabs is an uncommon Rolex Day-Date, Ref. 18038, with a factory black gloss diamond dial. This example dates to 1978, and remains with its original Rolex box, booklets, Rolex notebook, and original sales receipt (originally sold in 1978 in San Cristobal, Paraguay).
The condition of this Rolex Day-Date is excellent, seemingly rarely used. The case is unpolished and sharp, retaining its original caseback sticker, and showing a beautiful patina/tarnish on the bracelet. The dial remains perfect, with no cracks or imperfections.
The watch comes on its original hidden-clasp 18kt Rolex D’Agosto bracelet, with no stretch, and will fit an approximate 7.5″ wrist.
