Rolex "5513" Submariner

SOLD

Rolex “5513” Submariner

SOLD

Description

Up for grabs is a very nice example of a no-date Rolex Submariner, Ref. 5513, circa 1970 (2.6m serial), which is the first batch of the “feet first” dial iteration (called the “non-serif” dials).  This Submariner is in great condition.  The case appears unpolished, with normal wear, with thick and even lugs, and the original bevels are still present in the lugs.  The dial is in great condition, with no chips, scratches, or marks; the original lume is still present in the hands and dial, aged to a cream yellow color. The bezel insert is correct for this period of Submariner, and in great condition. The watch comes on a flip-lock 93150/558 bracelet, and has 10 full links, and light stretch.
