Description
Up for grabs is a Rolex GMT-Master, Ref. 16750, circa 1985. The reference 16750 was a transitional reference for Rolex, from the 1675, which introduced their new Caliber 3075 movement, and changed the date function to a quick-set. Further, this example has a “gloss” dial, which was Rolex’s departure from their traditional “matte” dial. This Rolex GMT-Master is in great condition. The case has been polished in the past, but retains thick and even lugs. The dial is in great condition, with no chips, scratches or marks. The original tritium lume, present on both the dial and hands, aged to a creamy yellow color. The “Pepsi” bezel insert is in good condition, with no wear, and a very light fading setting in. The watch comes equipped on an original Rolex Oyster Jubilee 62510H bracelet, with 555 endlinks, and has light stretch, overall very well-preserved for a Jubilee.
