Description
Offered here is a very nice example of a Patek Phillipe “Jumbo” Nautilus, the Reference 3700/1, circa 1978. These watches have exploded in popularity as of late, and are considered by many to be the best design of Gerald Genta. This Patek Phillipe Nautilus is in great vintage condition. The case has been previously polished, but still shows nicely beveled edges. The dial is in excellent condition, with virtually no wear or aging. The original tritium lume is present in both dial and hands, aged to a nice yellow.
The watch is accompanied with an Extract from the Archives (not pictured, but included), confirming both production and delivery in 1978.
