Movado “Super Sub Sea” Chronograph

Description
Offered here is a Movado Super Sub Sea chronograph, circa 1960s, in immaculate condition. This model was produced by Movado in conjunction with the Zenith Ref. A277 chronograph (the brands were merged in 1969), sharing the same movement, the Caliber 146HP. This watch, coming in at 41mm, was very large for the era, and was way ahead of its time.
This example is in incredible condition. The case is unpolished, with beautifully beveled edges. The dial is in perfect condition, with absolutely no flaws. The original tritium lume is present on both dial and hands, aged to a golden yellow on the dial, and a small shade darker in the hands.
