Patek Philippe “570J” Calatrava

Up for grabs is a beautiful and honest early Patek Philippe Calatrava, reference 570, circa 1960s, housed in an 18kt yellow gold case.  The reference 570 is a very popular reference amongst collectors for its larger (than Patek standards) case size and long lugs, giving it a nice presence on the wrist.  Please Note: An Extract of the Archives of Patek Philippe has been ordered, and will be provided to the buyer upon receipt.

The condition of this Patek Philippe Calatrava is great, overall very well-preserved.  The case does not show any signs of polishing, with a sharp case and strong hallmarks under the lugs; the outside of the caseback shows some light wear, and can be detailed upon request. The dial is unrestored with a strong raised enamel signature, and shows minimal honest wear throughout, with some more visible aging below the hands.
