Description
Up for grabs is a 1970s Jaeger LeCoultre Memovox, nicknamed the “Snowdrop” due its unusual case shape. It is reported that only around 2000 of these watches were produced. Further, it is powered by JLC’s venerable Cal. 916, which JLC introduced in 1969 with an increased beat rate of 28,800 and also featured a free-rotating rotor.
This Jaeger LeCoultre Snowdrop is in great condition. The case does not show signs of polishing, retaining its original finish. The dial shows only very minor wear, and is overall in very good condition. The original tritium lume is still present on both dial and hands, aged to a dark yellow color.
