Offered here is a very rare and special Gubelin triple-date moonphase Ipso-Matic, produced circa 1950s, housed in a waterproof case. Gubelin is one of the most famous retailers of wristwatches, based out of Switzerland, and founded in 1854, similar to Tiffany & Co. in the United States, or Serpico Y Laino out of Venezuela. Most Gubelin-signed or produced watches are only signed on the dial; this watch was produced by Gubelin themselves under their Ipso-Matic line, made as a triple calendar watch with moonphase. The watch itself is in excellent vintage condition, with an unpolished and sharp case, and perfect dial. Furthermore, it remains on its incredibly rare original solid gold Gubelin brick bracelet, dating to 1957.
