Offered here is a very special chronograph – a A. Lange & Sohne Double Split Flyback chronograph – originally sold in 2019. As opposed to the traditional split seconds complication, the double split allows both the seconds and minute hand to split and maintain a separate 30 minute counter from the original; regular split seconds complications only allow for the timing an additional increment of up to 60 seconds. In addition to this extraordinary horological feat, the watch also contains a flyback function, allowing the chronograph to be instantaneously restarted for continuous timing, without having to stop, reset and then restart the chronograph. This incredible piece of horological history comes complete, with its original Lange box and Warranty booklet, and additional informational booklet.
