Description
Up for grabs is an exceptional and attractive Zenith El Primero, Reference A384, with a beautiful “tropical” dial. The El Primero A384 was limited to 2,600 pieces, and produced between 1969-1970. It is powered by Zenith’s automatic El Primero movement, Caliber 3019 PHC / 400.
The example offered here today is in excellent condition. The case appears unpolished, with thick and prevalent beveled edges on the lugs. The dial has aged to a beautiful caramel brown color, and is virtually flawless. The lume has aged to a brown/black color, consistent with the tropical aging of the dial. The winding crown is a replacement.
