Up for grabs is an exceptionally rare Ulysse Nardin chronograph, circa 1930s. This particular example is housed in a solid, 18kt yellow gold and oversized, 37mm monopusher case, and fitted with a rare multi-scale dial, and retailed by “M. Coli Bologna” from Italy. It also features a rare “Savoy Knot” on the dial, which relates to Italian heraldry and the once-ruling house, Savoy.
This Ulysse Nardin chronograph is in excellent vintage condition. The fixed-bars case does not show signs of overpolishing, with thick and even lugs, likely very lightly cleaned up in the past. The dial is near perfect, with no major cracks or hairlines on the dial.
