SOLD
Description
Up for grabs is an exceptional and “LNOS” (like new old stock) Tudor “Big Block” Oysterdate Chronograph, circa 1993. These chronographs were introduced in the 1970s as a form of a budget Rolex Daytona, and were housed in thicker, sturdier cases, with a vertical chronograph register layout (as opposed to the traditional horizontal layout). This example comes with its original Tudor box, hangtag (with serial number sticker), and Warranty Certificate, showing the date of sale to be August 20, 1993.
As previously stated, this Tudor Big Block is in perfect condition. The case is unpolished and untouched, with no blemishes. The dial is immaculate, still glossy, and with no wear. The original tritium lume is still present on both dial and hands, and also in excellent condition, aged to a pale yellow.
