Description
Up for grabs is a rare and early 1940s Rolex Viceroy, reference 3116, made in 9kt yellow gold for the British market, and co-signed by the famous English retailer, Asprey. These Viceroy models were made during the same time as their Bubbleback counterparts, but noticeably different with a flat caseback and manual-wind movement. This particular Rolex Viceroy remains in great vintage condition for its age, with a thick and even case (polished in the past), and a lovely original dial with a warm patina.
