Rolex “LNOS Full-Set” Explorer

Description

Up for grabs is an exemplary example of the Rolex Explorer, Ref. 1016, circa 1989 – the very last year it was produced.  This Rolex Explorer is in “Like New Old Stock” condition, and is complete with its original inner and outer box, “punched” chronometer guarantee certificate, hangtag, and certification pamphlet.  Further, the watch still has its original sticker on the outside of the caseback.

The watch itself is in exemplary condition.  The case is unpolished and untouched.  The dial is immaculate, with no flaws.  The original tritium lume is still present in both dial and hands, aged to an off-white color (this model commonly remains its original white color in the lume).  The watch comes with its original 78360/580 bracelet, with 13 links, and no stretch. The clasp has obviously been opened only a handful of times, as it is still very tight.
