Description
Up for grabs is a beautiful example of a Rolex Submariner, Reference 5513, circa 1978. This example features a desirable 1st execution (MK1) “Maxi” dial, denoting the larger size of the lume plots, as compared to the Submariner’s predecessors.
This Rolex Submariner is in excellent vintage condition. The case appears unpolished (albeit worn), with original beveled edges still prevalent. The dial is in perfect condition, with no major wear, chips or scratches. The original tritium lume is present on both dial and hands, aged to a nice vivid yellow color. The bezel insert is period correct to this reference, and is in good condition, with no major wear.
The watch comes equipped with a flip-lock 93150 bracelet with 501B endlinks, and is in good condition with 10 full links and very light stretch.
