Rolex "Two-Tone 1675 Root Beer" GMT-Master

SOLD

Rolex “Two-Tone 1675 Root Beer” GMT-Master

SOLD

Description

Up for grabs is a lovely example of the popular “Root Beer” Rolex GMT-Master, reference 1675, in two-tone steel and yellow gold, circa 1978.  This example features the so-called “nipple” dial, due to the smaller hour markers, and with a brown, sunburst “nipple” dial.

The Rolex GMT-Master offered here is in great vintage condition.  The case has been polished in the past, but retains thick and even lugs; the caseback has an engraving of a former owner. The dial is gorgeous, with no chips, scratches or marks.  The original tritium lume is present on both dial and hands, aged to a lovely pale creamy color. The watch comes fitted on a Rolex Swiss 62523 Jubilee bracelet, with light stretch commiserate with the aging of these bands, but with no broken or worn out center links.  The bracelet will fit an approximate 7.5″ wrist.
