Up for grabs is a Rolex Datejust, cased in 18kt yellow gold, circa 1980, fitted with a very rare black “onyx” dial. Stone dial Datejust and Day-Dates have soared in popularity, adding a little variance to your normal fare dials of the Datejust and Day-Date models. This particular Rolex Datejust is in great vintage condition. The case appears lightly polished in the past, with thick and even lugs and strong lines. The onyx dial is perfect, with no cracks or hairlines. The watch comes fitted on a Rolex Swiss Presidential hidden-clasp bracelet with virtually no stretch; the bracelet will fit an approximate 7″ wrist (4 removable screws).
