Description
Up for grabs is an uncommon Rolex Day-Date, Ref. 18238, which was transitional from the Reference 18038, introducing the “double quick-set” function, which allows the owner to quickly just the day and date via the crown. This example dates to 19994, and is fitted with a rare “wood” or burlwood dial.
The condition of this Rolex Day-Date is excellent, seemingly barely used. The case is unpolished and sharp, retaining its original caseback sticker, and showing a beautiful patina/tarnish on the bracelet. The dial remains perfect, with no cracks or imperfections.
The watch comes on its original hidden-clasp 18kt Rolex Swiss bracelet, with no stretch, and will fit an approximate 7″ wrist (four removable screws).
