Up for grabs is a lovely example of the incredibly popular Rolex “Zenith” Daytona, so-called for its movement made by the brand, Zenith. Rolex introduced the automatic movement chronograph in 1987, using a movement manufactured by Zenith, as it was the industry’s only self-winding chronograph movement that met Rolex’s high quality standards. This particular example dates to 1996, with a T-serial, and has its original Rolex box and warranty certificate.
This Rolex Daytona is in great vintage condition. The case does not show signs of overpolishing, if any at all, with nice and sharp lugs. The dial is in mint condition, with no flaws, and likewise for the lume. The bezel shows no detail/color loss.
Finally, the watch comes on its original Rolex 78390/503 Oyster bracelet, with 11 full links, and virtually no stretch.
