Rolex “Full-Set Zenith” Daytona

SOLD

Description

Up for grabs is a lovely example of the incredibly popular Rolex “Zenith” Daytona, so-called for its movement made by the brand, Zenith.  Rolex introduced the automatic movement chronograph in 1987, using a movement manufactured by Zenith, as it was the industry’s only self-winding chronograph movement that met Rolex’s high quality standards.  This particular dates to 1991, with an X-serial, and has a rare “inverted 6” dial, due to the number 6 on the bottom register being inverted, looking like a 9.

This Rolex Daytona is in great vintage condition.  The case appears unpolished, with beautiful lugs. The dial is in mint condition, with no flaws, and likewise for the lume. The bezel shows no detail/color loss.

Further, the watch comes on its original Rolex 78390/503 Oyster bracelet, with 13 full links, and virtually no stretch.  In addition, the watch comes complete with its inner and outer box, original “punched’ Chronometer Guarantee Certificate, and Rolex booklet.
