Description
Offered here is a gorgeous example of a Rolex Submariner, featuring the date window at 3 o’clock, the Reference 1680. This Submariner dates to 1979, and comes complete with its original Rolex box, “punched” Guarantee Certificate, and green Rolex wallet. This Rolex Submariner is in excellent vintage condition. The case appears unpolished, with beautiful and sharp beveled edges. The dial is in excellent condition, with no flaws, chips, marks, etc. The tritium lume is original and present on both the dial and hands, aged to a gorgeous pumpkin orange color. The original and period correct bezel insert is in likewise good condition, with no scratches.
The watch comes fitted on a Rolex flip-lock thick bracelet, with 93150/580 endpieces/endlinks, 11 links in total, and with no stretch.
