Rolex “Full-Set MK1 1675” GMT-Master

Description

Offered here is a beautiful example of a Reference 1675, Rolex “GMT-Master”, with a Mark 1 “Long E” dial. The serial of this GMT-Master is 28xxxxx, dating this watch to 1971.  The watch comes complete with its original Rolex box, “punched” Guarantee Certificate, and original store receipt, showing the original sale of the watch in October of 1975, in Prince George, British Columbia.

The watch itself is in great vintage condition.  The case has been professionally polished in the past, with nicely beveled edges. The dial is devoid of any chips, scratches, or flaws, and is in perfect condition.  The original tritium lume is still present on the dial and hands, aged to a lovely yellow color. The original “Pepsi” bezel insert has remained in great condition, with a lovely fade to a pinkish color.

The watch comes fitted on a Rolex Oyster 7836 folded-link bracelet with 380 endlinks.  The inner clasp of the bracelet has been replaced with a service clasp, and the bracelet itself has 11 full links with light stretch.
