Description
Up for grabs is a Rolex Explorer I, Reference 1016, circa 1967, with an MK1 “Frog Foot” dial. This particular Explorer is in nice vintage condition. The case has been previously polished, but still retains thick and even lugs. The dial is gorgeous, with no damage, chips, scratches, etc. The original tritium lume is present on the dial, aged to a nice yellow color; the hands have been color-matched to the dial in the past. The watch comes equipped on a Rolex USA Jubilee bracelet, with normal stretch commensurate with the aging of these bands, and will fit a large wrist. Finally, the watch comes complete as a full-set, with its original Rolex box, “punched” Warranty booklet AND chronometer timing certificate, and booklets.
