Up for grabs is a matte-dial Rolex GMT-Master, Ref. 16750, circa 1984, in excellent condition. This watch is one of the last batch of this reference produced with a “matte” dial, before Rolex transitioned to the gloss dial. Further, this watch comes with its original box, Chronometer Guarantee Certificate (“punched papers”), service receipt from Bucherer in 2011, and card/manual.
The condition of this Rolex GMT-Master is excellent. The case does not show any obvious signs of polishing, with thick and even lugs, and the original beveled edges still present. The dial is flawless, with no chips, scratches, marks, etc. The original tritium lume is present on the dial, aged to a vibrant yellow; the hands have been professionally color-matched to the dial. The original “Pepsi” insert is attractive, with a nice fade setting in.
The watch comes on its original Rolex Swiss 78360 bracelet with 580 endlinks. The band has 11 full links and virtually no stretch.
Please Note: the Warranty Certificate has a tear in the top right corner, but it does not affect the legibility of the serial number.
