Offered here is an 18kt Yellow Gold Rolex Submariner, Ref. 16808, circa 1985 (8.5m serial). This example stands out due to the fact that the dial and bezel has aged from its normal dark navy blue to a light blue/grey color. The watch is in great condition. The case shows only light signs of polishing, with very thick and even lugs. The dial, as described above, has aged to a different color than it originally came with, and shows minor paint loss in the top right edge of the dial. The original tritium lume is present on both dial and hands, aged to an eggshell white color.
