Description
This is a very beautiful example of a Rolex Day-Date in 18kt yellow gold, reference 1803, dating to 1974. However, this Day-Date was fitted with a popular and rare blue-colored “Buckley” dial (featuring painted Roman numerals, named after esteemed collector/dealer and TikTok sensation, John Buckley). The case is in nice condition, with thick and even lugs, lightly polished. The dial is extremely mint, with not a blemish visible. Likewise, the tritium lume is present in both dial and hands, aged to a a dark yellow. The watch comes on a Rolex Swiss “hidden-clasp” Presidential gold bracelet, with light stretch, and will fit an approximate 7.5″ wrist (6 removable screws).
