Description
Up for grabs is a stunning and very rare Rolex Day-Date, reference 18388, circa 1991, with a factory pave diamond with sapphire indices at 6 and 9 o’clock, together with diamond-set in the bezel and lugs. These factory diamond and bejeweled watches were considered Rolex’s top of the line and ornate offerings, and remain to this day, usually reserved for top clients and not easily ordered by the general public. This particular example is in excellent condition, unpolished and sharp with its original caseback sticker, and no damage to the dial or stones. Finally, the watch is fitted on its original Rolex hidden-clasp Presidential bracelet, has no stretch, and will fit an approximate 7.25″ wrist (5 removable screws).
