Description
Up for grabs is a very beautiful, ornate and rare Rolex Day-Date, reference 18238, circa 1987. This particular Day-Date sets itself apart from the rest due to its incredibly striking factory bejeweled “string” dial, set with a string of diamonds around the edge of the dial, broken up by baguette-cut ruby markers. Further, this watch comes complete as a full-set, including the original Rolex box, “punched” Guarantee Certificate, and Day-Date booklet.
The condition of this diamond and ruby set Rolex Day-Date is excellent, remaining unpolished and with minimal wear. The dial is devoid of any flaws whatsoever. A true collector’s set, and one not to be missed!
