Description
Up for grabs is a Rolex GMT-Master, Ref. 16750, circa 1982. The reference 16750 was a transitional reference for Rolex, from the 1675, which introduced their new Caliber 3075 movement, and changed the date function to a quick-set. Further, this example has a “matte” dial, which was transitional from the reference 1675, and used on the earlier version of the 16750s. Further, this example comes complete as a “full-set”, including its original Rolex box, “punched” Warranty Certificate (originally sold in New York in 1984), and booklets.
This Rolex GMT-Master is in great vintage condition. The case been polished in the past, but retains thick and even lugs. The dial is in great condition, with no chips, scratches, or marks. The dial retains its original tritium lume, aged to a lovely yellow color, matching in the hands.
The watch comes equipped on an original Rolex Oyster 78360 bracelet, with 501B endlinks, and has 11 full links with light stretch.
