Up for grabs is an incredible and rare full-set Rolex Explorer II, circa 1985, Reference 16550, with uncommon “rail” dial (meaning the bottom to lines of text line up proportionally), aged to an incredible cream color. The watch comes with its inner and outer Rolex boxes, Rolex Explorer booklet, and Rolex Service Card, showing a very recent service.
This Rolex Explorer II is in great vintage condition. The case was polished while in service by Rolex The dial is immaculate, with no marks, scratches, or flaws. Further, the original tritium lume is present on both dial and hands, aged to a golden yellow color on the dial, and an off-white cream in the hands. Lastly, the watch comes fitted on its original Rolex Oyster 78360 bracelet, with 501B endlinks, and has 11 full links and no stretch.
