Description
Up for grabs is a stunning example of a Rolex Datejust, Ref. 1601, circa 1965. This Datejust features a fluted bezel, and a rare black, “gilt” dial. The condition of this Rolex Datejust is great. The case has likely been lightly polished in the past, with thick and even lugs. The dial is beautiful, with no major wear, and still very glossy. Likewise, the original tritium lume is present in both dial and hands, aged to a vibrant and beautiful yellow. The watch comes fitted on a Rolex 6251H Jubilee band with 55 endlinks, and is in good condition with plenty of links, with some stretch, but overall well-preserved.
