Offered here is an excellent example of a Patek Philippe “Jumbo” Nautilus, the Reference 3700/1, circa 1970s. These watches have exploded in popularity as of late, and are considered by many to be the best design of Gerald Genta. This Patek Phillipe Nautilus is in great vintage condition. The case has been previously polished, but still shows nicely beveled edges, seemingly very lightly done. The dial is in excellent condition, with no marks or scratches, and has aged to a lovely tropical brown color on the dial, giving it a very unique and distinct look. The original tritium lume is present on the dial and hands, aged to a golden yellow. The bracelet is likewise in great condition, and will fit an approximate 7″ wrist.
This Patek Philippe Nautilus was fully serviced by Patek in 2022, wherein they fitted the watch with a new service clasp; however, the original clasp is included with the watch, and can be placed back on the watch if desired.
