Patek Philippe Nautilus

SOLD

Description

Offered here is a very nice example of a Patek Phillipe “Jumbo” Nautilus, the Reference 3700/1, circa 1981.  These watches have exploded in popularity as of late, and are considered by many to be the best design of Gerald Genta.   This Patek Phillipe Nautilus is in excellent condition.  The case has never been polished, and was used faithfully (according to the original owner, this was his daily watch); the case can be detailed at the buyer’s request.  The grey dial is in great condition, with no major flaws, and even change to the color across the dial, consistent with the aging of these dials.  The original tritium lume is present in both dial and hands, aged to a nice yellow.

The watch is accompanied with an Extract from the Archives, confirming both production and delivery in 1981.
