Patek Philippe “Full-Set 3700/1” Nautilus

SOLD

Description

Offered here is an excellent time-capsule example of a Patek Philippe “Jumbo” Nautilus, the Reference 3700/1, circa 1977.  These watches are considered by many to be the best design of Gerald Genta.   This Patek Phillipe Nautilus is in great vintage condition. If the case was polished, it was done lightly and properly, with original bevels in the case, bracelet, and bezel. The “Type 2” dial is in superb condition, with virtually no wear whatsoever. The original tritium lume is present on the dial and hands, aged to a golden yellow.  The bracelet is likewise in great condition, and appears fully-linked

However, what sets this example apart from the pack is what comes with it! The watch remains preserved with its original Patek Philippe box, Certificate of Origin (showing the original date of sale in 1978), and Patek Philippe Extract of the Archives.
