Patek Philippe "130R" Chronograph

SOLD

Patek Philippe “130R” Chronograph

SOLD

Description

Up for grabs is an exceptional watch – the enigmatic Patek Philippe 130 chronograph, circa 1943, housed in 18kt rose gold. According to the Extract of the Archives, this watch was produced in 1943, and subsequently delivered in 1945.

For a watch of its age, this Patek Philippe 130 is extremely well-preserved.  The case remains very strong and seemingly unpolished, with thick and even/well-defined lugs, and hallmarks visible.  The dial shows virtually no wear, with its original zapon (varnish finish) still in-tact, and a lovely and crisp raised hard-enamel signature

This is a rare opportunity to own a definitive Patek grail, and one that rarely comes up for sale in this condition!
