Omega "Tropical Ed White" Speedmaster

SOLD

Omega “Tropical Ed White” Speedmaster

SOLD

Description

Offered here is a stunning example of a straight-lug Omega Speedmaster, so-called “Ed White”, due to the fact that this was the model worn by the famous Astronaut.  This example dates to 1964, and has a dial aged to an extremely tropical brown color.  The case appears unpolished, and is thick and even, seemingly unworn.  The dial is in great condition, with flaws or marks.  The original tritium lume is still present on the dial, and the hands have been professionally color-matched to the dial.  This example has a serial of 2.0xxxxx and is in correct range for this model.  The watch comes equipped with a period correct full-length flat-link bracelet, stamped 7912, with “6” endlinks.
