Description
Up for grabs is a nice example of a straight lugs Omega Speedmaster “Ed White”, so called as this was the same model worn by the famous astronaut, Mr. Ed White. This example dates to 1965, with correct serial range for the reference (105.003-65). The watch itself is in good vintage condition. The case shows light polishing, with original bevels still visible. The dial is in great condition, with no marks, chips, or scratches. The lume on the dial has flaked off due to age, yet still present in the hands. The chronograph hand is a later replacement. The original “DON” (Dot Over Ninety) bezel is in excellent condition, relatively untouched.
