Offered here is an incredibly rare Minerva chronograph, likely produced for use in the military during the 1940s. It features an uncommon stainless steel case (many of this era were chrome-plated), withfixed bars, screw-down and pump pushers. The watch is powered by Minerva’s Cal. 13-20 movement, and the watch was fitted with a black, gilt dial, often used in military watches. The watch is stamped “Fallfest” on the outside of the caseback, denoting that the movement has an Incabloc, and is shockproof.
This Minerva is in excellent condition. The case is unpolished and still very sharp. The dial is incredibly well preserved with no blemishes in sight, and has aged to a very dark brown. The original radium lume is still present in both dial and hands, aging to a dark brown color.
